You are More Project
The You Are More Project was founded to address a critical gap in supporting survivors of sexual violence. Our organization was established to provide holistic support in response to the lack of comprehensive, realistic healing approaches. As a survivor of sexual violence, our founder experienced firsthand the need for programming that reconnects the mind and body, which inspired the creation of this initiative. The You Are More Project offers evidence-based therapeutic programming, facilitated by community experts, that incorporates movement and other healing modalities. Our mission extends beyond supporting survivors—we also educate and involve allies to build a well-informed community.
Survivors often face significant barriers, including societal stigma, shame, mental health challenges, lack of access to support services, financial constraints, and healthcare system barriers. The You Are More Project addresses these challenges by developing free, inclusive, and holistic community-centered programs for survivors.
