Flash for Falasteen 2026

A big thank you to everyone who made it out to support our “Flash for Falasteen” event! Together, we raised $3503.00 for The Sameer Project.

It was a big day filled with all kinds of artistry! We co-hosted this fundraiser alongside Hayley and Fern from Moms of Anarchy, who were present and accounted for with all sorts of goodies for the cause. Prints, pins, kuffiyas, stickers, and accessories were all available for purchase, with 100% of profits being donated.

Nick, Tasia, Mortie and Daelon made up our roster of participating artists for the day, each with their own flash sheet of available designs. A majority of the tattoo slots were pre-booked ahead of time, and any remaining spots filled up quickly with walk-ins. Each artist donated a portion of their profits.

For those who wanted to support but could not get tattooed, Bijou Body Piercing and Essential Henna Saskatoon were there to provide! The talented piercers over at Bijou donated 20-30$ from each piercing service that day, whereas Essential Henna was parked creating fabulous temporary artwork all day long, with 50% of proceeds being donated. With our combined efforts between services, we had a packed studio!

So once again, thank you a million to everyone who participated in this event, came by to say hi, or supported in other ways. We are continuously blown away and grateful for this community that continues to show up for each other, which in turn allows us to do our part in standing up for the things we believe in!
